Waverly Public Library Loan and Billing PolicyThe Board of Trustees of the Waverly Public Library recognizes that library materials in a variety of formats are necessary to provide effective access to information and ideas to the members of the public. When providing materials for loan, the basic loan period shall be without user fees. Renewal of the loan may be possible through procedures, including possible charges, established periodically by staff. Use extended beyond the basic loan and/or renewed loan period may result in charges to be determined periodically by staff. Replacement cost for materials lost, damaged, or long overdue shall be assessed periodically by staff. Waverly Public Library shall bill, for materials lost, damaged, or not returned or charges not paid, at intervals and in amounts to be determined periodically by staff with changes reported to Board. Such bills shall be processed according to procedures established by staff.
