The new 13-digit ISBN has been approved and plans are underway to transition to the new number industry-wide, world-wide by January 1, 2007. Display and Programming Ideas for April—and Beyond:  2005 marks the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II.  Throughout the year, libraries could create powerful displays, exhibits, and programming for all ages on WWII events.  For instance, displays could center on the life and death of FDR—and Anne Frank.  Or the liberation of the concentration camps, the death of Hitler, and the demise of the Third Reich.  Most libraries have a rich collection of WWII books to put on display.  But here are some online resources of special interest:
