The "Eye-Pod" Teen Center Takes Shape
After 6 months of accumulating, purchasing, producing, and creating, the library’s teen area, the "Eye-Pod", is shaping up. Many, many volunteers have helped with carving out a section of the library to serve as it's teen area and the Friends of the Library has funded it. New furniture, a mosaic table created by Aplington Middle School students, psychedelic banners, and a new paint job have all contributed to make this the place teens will want to be.
