NOTES for 09/05/2008
NOTES
The Friday Notes has gone to archive & will be no more.
NOTES is the replacement, unlike the Friday Notes, NOTES is occasional,
when there is something to say it will be posted. As such you will not
find in NOTES such things as: anything posted to IowaLib or other
commonly read lists, "Stuff", CE reminders, or material posted on the
State Library of Iowa website or
other commonly used web sites e.g. Web Junction Iowa or NEILSA
You will find links to things of importance, you will find short postings of things of immediate local library interest which will include "Telling the Library Story" materials from your libraries. When we know of them we will post job listings and changes from the libraries and county meeting dates. But no more begging for information.
Under seperate cover you will receive a monthly listing of statewide ce listings produced by the LSA's. Finally you will get advanced notice of potential ce events produced by NEILSA, if you are desirous of something happening it would be best if you used the comments at the bottom to give me feedback.
Finally on feedback, please use the comments section so everyone may see your thoughts, suggestions et. al. NOTES will shrink or expand based on your requests. Friday Notes took up nearly 8 hours a week, I feel that my time is better spent on your concerns so it had to go.
To the few of you who read it every week and even commented, Thank You.
Now to NOTES...
